Aylie’s pragmatic approach to most situations in life gives her the ability to assist the QOH team and our clients in managing difficult situations and problem solving. She enjoys being a sounding board for clients and the team, encouraging people to consider a different approach and think outside the box. Aylie has developed a strong bond with the team and considers herself a developing leader who aims to continue cultivating and supporting the team, their projects, and careers.

Jane O’Hanlon is one of the founding Directors of O’Hanlon Design Landscape Architects and Quinn O’Hanlon Architects, founded in the 1980’s. Jane is an experienced Landscape Architect with close ties to the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, and has in recent years mentored and assessed young Landscape Architects joining the profession. In her younger years Jane was in the NSW Rowing team and remains active in the sport.

Edward (Terry) O’Hanlon is one of the founding Directors of O’Hanlon Design Landscape Architects and Quinn O’Hanlon Architects, founded in the 1980’s. Terry brings decades of experience to all our projects and endeavours, having grown the company from small residential projects to the multimillion dollar projects we are fortunate enough to work on now. In his younger years Terry represented Australia as a Rowing Coxswain and is a life member of Rowing NSW.

Our resident Kiwi, Will has always had a strong connection to the natural environment. Originally intending to study Architecture, it was the organic marriage of Art and Science which ultimately convinced Will to become a Landscape Architect. Will’s experience includes specialist areas of landscape architecture such as master planning, playground design, civil works remediation and encapsulation projects, as well as landscape and visual assessments.

Catherine's approach to architecture is driven by her affinity with nature. A senior project architect by weekday and gardener and native plant enthusiast by weekend. Catherine is passionate about creating fresh, healthy, and inspiring spaces. A job well done is one where spaces are useful, every part has a purpose, and ultimately the end user feels peace and inspiration without realising it's happening.

Alex hails from Inverness in the Scottish Highlands, a place and an upbringing that fostered the ingrained dual loves that drive him - nature and exquisite architecture. His route to architecture was the result of seeking a career that married the creative and the technical. As well as his role as project Architect, Alex has extensive experience with the contract administration of the office’s larger construction projects, from tender analysis, award of contract and contract administration through construction.

Driven by the principles of craftsmanship and how Architecture guides the tactile experience of users at all scales, Adams’ design approach is both detail oriented and informed by community and experience. Adam has applied these principles through countless projects from full site education masterplans to small scale residential refurbishments. He enjoys the journey and process of architecture, the refinement of a thought into a space which will provide the end user with a positive experience.

Ed is passionate about creating lasting, practical, and inspiring spaces. With a diverse portfolio that includes educational, residential, and community/sporting projects, Ed's design philosophy centres on the idea of permanence and adaptability. He believes that architecture should not only fulfill the current brief but also remain flexible to accommodate the needs of future generations. After relocating to Melbourne, Ed has been instrumental in the establishment and management of the QOH Geelong office.
