Quinn O’Hanlon Architects worked in collaboration with the Genesian Theatre Company and Westbury Constructions to deliver this complex refurbishment project, transforming the heritage-listed parish hall into a commercial theatre, unveiling a space that enhances both its functionality and charming aesthetic. The newly designed auditorium seats up to 130 patrons while maintaining an intimate theatre experience, a front-of-house bar, backstage facilities, a bio box, and a striking new proscenium stage.
As the Genesian Theatre Company celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2025, this new venue aims to serve as a vibrant home for their productions and showcase the art of theatre in an inspiring setting.
