The third stage of the masterplan at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Matraville provides classrooms for an additional 210 students and an elevated, 70 place Early learning centre, as well as parking for 42 cars. The new building forms a 3-storey addition to the administration facilities constructed in the preceding stage. Vehicle egress to the site is removed from Bunnnerong Road, thereby separating vehicle and pedestrian egress to the site which is one of the principle aims of the masterplan.
The form of the new building provides a distinctive presence to Bunnerong Road while preserving solar access and privacy of the immediately adjacent apartment building.
