The Master Plan for the Hamlyn Terrace Community Centre and Sporting Facilities involved the integration of a number of different sporting and community facilities on a 5-hectare site. Consideration of public safety, vandal resistant materials and finishes, bushfire and flooding issues were essential to this project.
This stage of the project includes a new Amenities building and Sporting Facilities co-located with a new community Centre. Material selection and vandal resistance were significant considerations to be balanced against the desired aesthetics of the building.
