The Master Plan for the Hamlyn Terrace Community Centre and Sporting Facilities involved the integration of a number of different sporting and community facilities on a 5-hectare site. Consideration of public safety, vandal resistant materials and finishes, bushfire and flooding issues were essential to this project.
This stage of the project includes a new Community Centre co-located with new Sporting Facilities.
The Community Centre features a large activity room and flexible meeting spaces with storage for various community groups. The activity room opens to a children’s play area on the northern side of the building.
